Fundraising event in simple terms can be called as an event, where people are gathered together to encourage the general public to participate in paying money or resources of other form for a good cause or a specific cause for non-profit organizations. But, at times even certain for-profit organizations too, do it as a solicitation and identification of investors. Even many big organizations do charity fundraising events to collect funds for the under-privileged and for other needy people like patients suffering from cancer. • Arranging Fairs and Carnivals. This is a very popular activity where people throng in, to attend the fairs. Fairs and carnivals are an attraction for people of all ages, especially for children and young people. If one arranges a special event or show by a celebrity like a music performance by a famous band or a local band would surely increase the turn around.

• Organizing a Bingo Night. A bingo is a game loved by all. So organizing a bingo night would be a great idea, where people can contribute a particular amount and play the game for a small gift at the end.

• Bake-a-Cake. Many young women who know baking will be ready to come forward to bake a cake, which can be sold later and made money.
