Types of Projection Dome:

Geodesic Dome:

Inflatable dome:

The inflatable dome is domes that are based on air-flow applications. They are easy to install and flexible in structure because of which they are preferred for many purposes.

They have a large capacity and can fit around 20-900 visitors at a conference. Inflatable domes find their use in training and development purposes. Besides this, they are utilized for corporate and promotional events.

Planetarium Dome:

Planetarium domes are hemispherical domes that are used for the projection of stars, planets, and other celestial bodies. The traditional inflatable dome is constructed of aluminum sheets which consist of innumerable tiny openings.

Non-Tilted Projection Dome:

The non-tilted Projection dome is specifically used for corporate events, presentations, carnivals, and festivals. Non-tilted Projection Dome is best suited for events and live concerts as the framework of the dome provides an efficient flow of audiences avoiding any shadows.

Since the distance between the floor and screen is high, with a minimum of 2.2 meters from the ground, such screens cater to minimal immersive experience as compared to other Projection Domes.

Non-Tilted Low Screen Dome or VR Dome:

Projection Dome with Non-Tilted Low screen offers the most immersive experience among all dome types. Because of their framework, such Projection Dome is an economical option for 360 Dome.

Since the distance between the screen and floor is a minimum of 40 cm, such dome screens offer a complete involvement in the content. A disadvantage of this type of dome is that their capacity is limited.

360 Degree Galactic Dome:

360 Degree Galactic Video dome is a massive semi-transparent video dome that is mainly utilized for cinematic projection. Their large screen interactive projection allows the audience to give an all-round immersive view of 720 degrees.
